Notifications about criminals on Instagram

Notifications about criminals on Instagram is a really big joke. I’ve been trying to notify Meta about a specific account for weeks. The owner of this account is an impostor and a scammer and they will probably try to fraud anyone again. How do I know this? It may not be difficult to guess, but the fact is that I have been exposed to fraud from this person. But, the account is still operative, even though I have sent Meta about 20 alerts. I never get any feedback about what Meta is planning to do with the matter. It’s just a “Thanks for the feedback” and that’s it.

I need some time before I can make a post, describing what actually happened. To put it very briefly, it was an emotional blackmail with threats and carried out by the impostor pretending to be a famous actor. It’s just so indescribably embarrassing.

How to notify Meta?

However, the notification on Instagram must in addition to ticking the right box, also include a box where we can give a proper description of why we report a person. No matter what. The criminal is still operative out there and my fucking notifications are NOT being taking seriously. I wish the police could get these messages too and start to go undercover to smoke the criminals out. Meta is not capable for such a task.

A friend of mine lost her Instagram account to a dude who changed her password and there was absolutely NO ONE to help her out with this issue. This was another example why notifications on Instagram is s joke. There should be a description box!!! She lost all of her pictures and that was pretty unnecessary.

I am seriously planning to delete all of my accounts on social media. There are so many criminals and impostors out there who can go on scamming decent people. But the notification pages on every platform must be much better……
